Rural Health Tasmania provides a broad range of services as well as community projects and events to benefit individuals, families and communities with a specific focus on rural Tasmania.These include mental health support and suicide prevention (counselling and mental health Nurses), chronic conditions management, youth centres (SevenUP), respite accommodation, community house workshops (@23 Wedge), No 34 Aboriginal Health Service, parents and early learning program to encourage a love of learning in their children (HIPPY)and early intervention and prevention programs with a specific focus on early childhood and youth (RULER).

How will Rural Health Tasmania improve the health of people in rural Tasmania?
Through these services, we aim to:
- Reduce psychological distress for people using these services;
- Reduce the severity of symptoms and reduce hospitalisations due to complications from chronic conditions;
- Improve the health literacy of communities.
