Health Promotion and Education
At Rural Health Tasmania, your health is important to us. We run a variety of health campaigns and information sessions focussing on creating awareness of Chronic Conditions and the impact they have on your daily life. At each service, our friendly staff (including Registered Nurses) can discuss your health concerns and provide you with information as required to help you control and improve your health. This can include direct support, referrals to appropriate services, information, etc.
To reach good physical, mental and social wellbeing, an individual must be able to identify and realise aspirations, satisfy needs and change or cope with their environment. We can help you set goals and work towards them, to improve your quality of life, regardless of your chronic condition.
Please contact your nearest Rural Health Tasmania office for further information.
